Little Rainbow Ranch Ltd. based in Surrey, BC is looking for candidates for the position of Cattle Herdsperson with 1 vacancy. The ones chosen to be employed will be required to start work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to that of permanent employment and a full-time job. Little Rainbow Ranch Ltd. has an approved Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) to hire a foreign worker to fill labor or skills shortages on a temporary basis. The shift will extend from day to evening to early morning to morning, the candidate may also be required to work on the weekend and overtime.

Requirements

  • The candidate will be required to recognize and treat certain livestock health problems.
  • The candidate will be required to formulate a feeding program.
  • The candidate will be required to Monitor animal health.
  • The candidate will be required to carry out pasture or pen breeding programs.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain livestock performance records.
  • The candidate will be required to select livestock for sale.
  • The candidate will be required to Calving.
  • The candidate will be required to Feed inventory.
  • The candidate will be required to Livestock branding.
  • The candidate will be required to ensure quality control.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain quality control and production records.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain records and check the quality of products.
  • The candidate will be required to perform general farm duties.
  • The candidate will be required to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain work records and logs.
  • The candidate will be required to operate a Tractor.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain Storage and silage system.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain the Feeding and watering system.
  • The worksite environment is noisy with a lot of odors and is hot.
  • The candidate will be required to look after Livestock; Grain, oil, and forage crops.
  • The candidate will be required to look after Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots.
  • The candidate will be required to look after other grain farming.
  • The candidate will be required to have specialization in Beef cattle.

Educational Qualification

  • The candidate does not require any degree or certificate.
  • The candidate should have experience of at least 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • The candidate should also have a valid driver’s license.
